Bishop McGovern has reassigned Deacon Steve Eischens to St. Mary the Immaculate Conception Church, Mt. Vernon and St. Barbara, Scheller where he will continue his ministry as Deacon.
Deacon Eischens began his ministry as a Deacon in 2018 and he has being with our parish for almost three years serving as Deacon. On behalf of our two parishes; St. Theresa of Avila , Salem and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Kinmundy, I would like to express our appreciation to Deacon Eischens for his service to our parishes. Let us support Deacon Eischens with our prayers as he begins his new assignment at St. Mary and St. Barbara beginning March 1st 2021.
During this Lenten season, the Church encourages all of us to remain committed in confessing our faith in Jesus Christ and deepen our relationship with Jesus.
May the Lord continue to nourish us inwardly by his word, that, with spiritual sight made pure, we may rejoice to behold his glory.
